Park and Ride Lot Closures Over the Weekend

SAN DIEGO – Crews from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close four Park and Ride lots in East County on Saturday at 6:30 a.m. through Monday at 6:30 a.m. for maintenance work. The Park and Ride locations are as follows:

  • Lake Jennings Park Road and Interstate 8 (I-8) in Lakeside;
  • Los Coaches Road I-8 east of El Cajon;
  • Riverford Drive and State Route 67 (SR-67) in Lakeside; and
  • Mapleview Street and SR-67 in Lakeside.

The asphalt pavement in the lots will be treated to extend its serviceability.  Striping will be redone later in the week.
