Some Connector Ramps at I-8/SR-163 Closed Sunday Morning
SAN DIEGO –The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has two planned closures Sunday morning from 3 to 9 at the vicinity of Interstate 8 (I-8) and State Route 163 (SR-163). The first is the connector ramp closure from eastbound I-8 to northbound SR-163. The second is from southbound SR-163 to eastbound I-8.
For the first closure motorists will take eastbound I-8 to the Texas Street off-ramp, back on westbound I-8 to the northbound SR-163 connector ramp. For the second closure motorists will take southbound SR-163 to the westbound I-8 connector to the Taylor Street off-ramp, then back onto eastbound I-8.
The closures are needed electrical maintenance work.
