Southbound I-15 Connector to Eastbound I-8 Closed Friday Morning
SAN DIEGO – Crews from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close the southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) connector to eastbound Interstate 8 (I-8) on Friday from 1-5 a.m. for repairs.
Signs will be posted detouring early-morning travelers to continue on southbound I-15 to El Cajon Boulevard east, to northbound I-15 and then to eastbound I-8.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when Caltrans or other emergency vehicles are displaying flashing amber lights. It's the law!
