Weekend Work on State Route 76

SAN DIEGO – Access from Camino Del Rey to State Route 76 (SR-76) will be closed this weekend from Friday at 9 p.m. to Monday at 5 a.m. to connect Camino Del Rey to the new section of (SR-76). The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be moving utility lines in the area which is part of the SR-76 Middle Segment Expansion Project. All lanes of SR-76 will remain open.

Motorists traveling on Camino Del Rey to access SR-76 will need to detour on Old River Road to access SR-76.

Construction crews are in the early stages of building the westbound only lanes. By the end of the year, SR-76 will be expanded to include a four-lane conventional highway from Melrose Drive to South Mission Road.
