Caltrans to Host Procurement Fair

SAN DIEGO – Public agencies in the market to purchase goods and services will have their pick of certified Small Business and Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises to choose from at the eighth annual Procurement Fair on Wednesday, March 21, from 9 a.m. - noon at the Balboa Park Club Ballroom in Balboa Park.

The event is put on by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Small Business Council, in partnership with San Diego Public Agency Consortium. It was formerly known as the Small Business Exchange and features more than 30 participating public agencies. The event is free and detailed information can be found at smallbizexchange.eventbrite.com.

The Procurement Fair will also feature workshops covering topics such as state contracting process, benefits of business certification, and contracting opportunities.
