Sunday Morning Closures on I-8
SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled two separate connector closures on Interstate 8 (I-8) early Sunday morning for roadway repairs.
The first connector closure will take place from eastbound I-8 to northbound and southbound State Route 125 (SR-125) from midnight to 4 a.m.
A detour is available on eastbound I-8 to La Mesa Drive (south), to Grossmont Boulevard (east) to northbound or southbound SR-125.
The second connector closure is from westbound I-8 to State Route 67 (SR-67) from 3-6 a.m.
Motorists may detour from westbound I-8 to W. Main Street (south), to eastbound I-8 to SR-67.
