Intermittent Full Closures on Northbound/Southbound I-5 Scheduled for Sunday Night
SAN DIEGO – Three lanes on northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) and two lanes on southbound I-5 will be closed from just south of the San Onofre Creek Bridge to just south of Basilone Road from Sunday at 11 p.m. until Monday at 3 a.m. with brief, intermittent full freeway closures to accommodate an oversized load.
According to Caltrans, the full freeway closures are expected to be for no longer than 15 minutes each.
