Multiple Connector Closures Saturday Morning

SAN DIEGO – Caltrans has scheduled four connector closures Saturday morning for guardrail repairs and other maintenance work. The first location is southbound State Route 15 (SR-15) to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) from 3-7 a.m. Motorists will be detoured to exit at Main Street south, to Division Street east, to Osborn Street north, to northbound I-5.

The second closure is eastbound State Route 78 (SR-78) to northbound Interstate 15 (I-15) in Escondido from 3-8 a.m. Signs will be posted detouring motorists to take Center City Parkway to westbound SR-78, to northbound I-15.

The next location is westbound SR-78 to northbound I-15 in Escondido from 3-9 a.m. Motorists will be detoured to Nordahl Road south, to eastbound SR-78.

The final location is westbound Interstate 8 to southbound SR-15 from 6-9 a.m. Motorists will be detoured to northbound I-15, to Friars Road west, to southbound SR-15.

Drivers are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when Caltrans or other emergency vehicles are displaying flashing amber lights. It’s the law!
