Brawley Bypass Completion CelebrationWHO:
California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Director Malcolm Dougherty, Caltrans District Director Laurie Berman, Imperial County Transportation Commission Executive Director Mark Baza, California State Assemblymember V. Manuel Perez, Federal Highways Administration Associate Division Administrator Rick Backlund, Southern California Association of Governments Executive Director Hasan Ikhrata and other local officials.
WHAT:
An event celebrating the completion of the State Route 78/SR-111 Brawley Bypass Project. Refreshments will be served after the event.
WHEN:
Thursday, Oct. 18, beginning at 9:30 a.m.
WHERE:
At the intersection of SR-86 and the new SR-78/SR-111, just south of Fredericks Road in Brawley.
Directions: From the north take SR-86 south to just past Fredericks Road.
From the east take SR-78 west to SR-86 north towards Fredericks Road.
From the west or south take I-8 to Imperial Avenue north in El Centro to SR-86 north towards Fredericks Road.
Event signs will be posted on SR-86 just south of Fredericks Road. Parking will be available on site.
