Buckman Springs Rest Area Closed Wednesday
SAN DIEGO – The Buckman Springs Rest Area located on Interstate 8 east of Pine Valley will be closed this Wednesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
“Crews have to turn off the water in order to make upgrades to the water system,” said Caltrans spokesperson Cathryne Bruce-Johnson. “The rest area will be reopened as soon as the upgrades are made and the water is flowing again.”
