Santa Fe Drive On-ramp to Interstate 5 Closed This Weekend
SAN DIEGO – The Santa Fe Drive on-ramp to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) will be closed this weekend beginning Friday night at 9 and reopening Monday morning at 5.
According to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), construction crews will re-pave the ramp, widen the shoulders and make room for a maintenance vehicle pull-out.
Motorists will be detoured to southbound I-5, exit at Birmingham Drive, turn left over the freeway and left onto northbound I-5.
Changeable message signs have been placed to provide motorists with advance notice of the weekend closure.
