Northbound I-15 Closed at Bernardo Center Drive
SAN DIEGO – All northbound lanes of Interstate 15 are closed at Bernardo Center Drive due to an over turned semi-truck. The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has opened the I-15 Express Lane to all vehicles at no charge. Maintenance crews have also closed the northbound Bernard Center Drive on-ramp.
The accident occurred just before the evening commute. Caltrans crews are on the scene but the estimated time to re-open the freeway is unknown at this time.
Commuters are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternate route to reach their destination.
