Long Term Closure Planned for Ramp to State Route 905
SAN DIEGO – The northbound Interstate 805 (I-805) transition ramp to eastbound State Route 905 (SR-905) will be closed for 25 days, beginning Monday, Nov. 28, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Motorists will be detoured to westbound SR-905, exit Picador Boulevard and back to eastbound SR-905.
This closure will allow crews to widen the transition ramp to accommodate the future State Route 905 extension that will build a six-lane freeway from I-805 to the Otay Mesa Port of Entry.
Motorists are reminded to drive alertly and to move over when possible when highway workers are present. For questions or concerns contact the Caltrans Public Information Office at (619) 688-6670.
