One-Way Traffic Control for SR-78 Day Work

SAN DIEGO – State Route 78 (SR-78) between Indian Oaks Road and Weekend Villa Road near Ramona will be open to one-way traffic control for the remainder of the week through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is in the final stage of completing a safety project to secure loose rocks along the slope of the highway.

Because of the nature of this work, Caltrans crews will only exercise the one way traffic control when it is safe to do so. Motorists may be delayed up to 15 minutes before vehicles are allowed to pass.

Westbound motorists may detour the one way traffic control and take southbound State Route 67 (SR-67) to westbound Scripps Poway Parkway and then to Interstate 15 (I-15)

Eastbound motorists should take I-15 to eastbound Scripps Poway Parkway and then onto northbound SR-67 to SR-78.
