Consecutive Ramps Closed on I-5 for Night Work

SAN DIEGO – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be closing consecutive on off- and on-ramps on Interstate 5 (I-5) in San Diego for pavement work from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. The first closure is tonight for the northbound on-ramps at First Avenue and Hawthorn Street.

Crews will close the northbound off-ramps at Sassafras Street and Pacific Highway on Tuesday. The northbound on-ramps at San Diego Avenue and Washington Street will close along with the off-ramp at Old Town Avenue on Wednesday.
