Southbound I-805 to Eastbound SR-54 Connector Closed Saturday Morning

SAN DIEGO – The connector from southbound Interstate 8 (I-8) to eastbound State Route 54 (SR-54) will be closed Saturday morning between 3 and 8 for guardrail repair.

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) stated that signs will be posted directing motorists around the closure by way of southbound I-805 to westbound SR-54, to Highland Avenue/4th Avenue south, to the eastbound SR-54 On-ramp.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when Caltrans or other emergency vehicles are displaying flashing amber lights. It’s the law!
