WHO: The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) and local Adopt-A-Highway Volunteers.
WHAT: In support of “California Cleanup Day“, Caltrans’ Adopt-A-Highway volunteers around the County will be out collecting litter. Officials will highlight new opportunities available to the public to participate in keeping San Diego clean.
WHEN: Saturday, Sept. 17, 8-9 a.m.

The event will take place on the Briarwood Bridge over State Route 54.

PHOTO/VIDEO OPPORTUNITY: This event will feature Caltrans Public Information Officer and Adopt-A-Highway volunteers urging San Diegans to consider adopting a section of roadway. Adopt-A-Highway volunteer groups will be working along County roadway and available for interviews.
