Southbound I-15 to Northbound I-5 Connector Closed Saturday Morning
SAN DIEGO – Crews will close the southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) connector to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) Saturday morning from 6-10, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
The closure is needed so that highway maintenance workers can safely clear weeds and overgrowth from the area.
Signs will be placed directing motorists from southbound I-15 to southbound I-5 to the Main Street/Division Street exit. Motorists will take Main Street south, to Division Street, east, then Osborn Street north to access northbound I-5.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when they see Caltrans or other emergency vehicles displaying flashing amber lights. It’s the law!
