Southbound SR-125/Westbound I-8 Connector Closed Sunday Morning

SAN DIEGO – A full closure on the southbound State Route 125 (SR-125) connector to westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) is scheduled from 3 to 10 Sunday morning, according to the California Department of Transportation, Caltrans.

The closure is needed so that crews can safely perform repairs to the roadway at a time that is least disruptive to the traveling public.

Signs will be in place to detour motorists from southbound SR-125 to Grossmont Boulevard to northbound SR-125 to westbound I-8.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when they see Caltrans or other emergency vehicles displaying flashing amber lights. It’s the Law!
