SAN DIEGO – Motorist traveling on southbound State Route 67 (SR-67) this weekend should expect delays, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). Work crews will close the highway between Woodside and Bradley avenues Saturday and Sunday from 3 a.m. to 5 p.m. The southbound on-ramps at Riverford Road and Magnolia Avenue will be unavailable during this closure.
Vehicles will be detoured off the highway at Woodside Avenue and will follow the posted detour to southbound Magnolia Avenue and the southbound Bradley Avenue on-ramp.
“We expect traffic to reach its peak between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. and have placed Changeable Messages Signs in advance of the closure,” said Caltrans Corridor Director Joel Haven.
Motorists traveling from Ramona may want to detour to Scripps Poway Parkway and take Interstate 15 to reach their destination.
