Westbound I-8 Connector to Northbound I-5 Closed Friday Morning
SAN DIEGO – The connector ramp from westbound Interstate 8 (I-8) to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) will be closed for bridge repair Friday morning from 3 until 6, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
Signs will be posted to detour motorists to southbound I-5, exit at Old Town Avenue, cross over the freeway and turn left on Moore Street to northbound I-5.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and safely move over a lane when they see Caltrans or other emergency vehicles displaying flashing amber lights. It’s the law!
