Southbound Interstate 15 Closed Tonight at Poway Road/Rancho Peñasquitos Boulevard
SAN DIEGO – Work continues tonight on State Route 67 as crews close the southbound lanes of the highway between Mapleview and Winter Gardens from 9 to 5 the following morning. The work is part of the SR-52 Sunny Side Gateway Project.
On Wednesday and Thursday evening the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will close both sides of the highway between Woodside and Prospect avenues from 9 to 5 the following morning.
The following ramps will also be closed beginning one hour earlier at 8 and reopening at 5 Thursday morning:
- Northbound SR-67 on-ramp from Bradley Avenue.
- Northbound SR-67 off-ramp to Prospect Avenue.
- Southbound SR-67 on-ramp from Magnolia Avenue.
The closures will allow workers to place overhead signs on the project that will provide a new link from inland San Diego to Santee, scheduled to be completed this spring.
