Interstate 15 Closed at Carroll Canyon Road on Monday through Thursday Nights
SAN DIEGO – Interstate 15 (I-15) will be closed in the southbound direction on Monday and Tuesday nights, and the northbound direction on Wednesday and Thursday nights at the Carroll Canyon Road bridge, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans). The closures will occur from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., weather permitting.
Motorists traveling south on I-15 on Monday or Tuesday will be detoured to the Carroll Canyon Road off-ramp, across the intersection and to the on-ramp back to southbound Interstate 15. Motorists traveling north on I-15 on Wednesday or Thursday will be detoured to the Carroll Canyon Road off-ramp, across the intersection and to the on-ramp back to northbound I-15. Detour signs will be posted to direct motorists.
The Carroll Canyon Road bridge over I-15 will also be closed all four nights. Motorists traveling east on Carroll Canyon Road will be detoured to north on Black Mountain Road to east on Mira Mesa Boulevard to south on Scripps Ranch Boulevard onto Carroll Canyon Road. Motorists traveling west on Carroll Canyon Road will be detoured to north on Scripps Ranch Boulevard to west on Mira Mesa Boulevard to south on Black Mountain Road onto Carroll Canyon Road. Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists.
