Noon Closures On State Route 76
SAN DIEGO – Motorists can expect a 15 minute delay on State Route 76 (SR-76) just west of North River Road at noon on Monday and Tuesday, according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
The freeway will be closed briefly to accommodate blasting operations for the SR-76 Middle Project. Drivers may choose to adjust their travel times accordingly.
The project will widen the highway to four lanes from Melrose Drive in Oceanside to South Mission Road in the community of Bonsall. Work is expected to be completed in late 2012.
