Portion of Southbound State Route 163 Closed Wednesday Night
SAN DIEGO – Southbound State Route 163 (SR-163) will be closed from Interstate15 (I-15) to Kearny Villa Road on Wednesday from 10 p.m. – 5 a.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
This closure will allow construction crews to resurface the roadway as part of the ongoing I-15 Express Lanes project. Motorists traveling south on I-15 towards SR-163 will be detoured to west on State Route 52 to south on Interstate 805 onto southbound SR-163. Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists.
