State Route 67 Closed for Night Work
SAN DIEGO – Work continues on State Route 67 between Prospect and Woodside avenues. Closures will begin nightly at 9 starting Sunday, Feb. 28 through Thursday night. The highway will reopen at 5 each morning. Construction crews will also close the southbound Magnolia Avenue on-ramp and northbound Bradley Avenue on-ramp at 10. In addition, on Thursday night at 8 the northbound Prospect Avenue on-ramp will be closed.
According to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the closures will allow workers to remove bridge falsework as part of the SR-52 Sunny Side Gateway project that is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
Crews will place detour signs to assist motorists around the closures.
