One-Way Traffic Control Scheduled for State Route 76
SAN DIEGO – One-way traffic control will be in effect on State Route 76 between Calle de la Vuelto and Gird Road tonight from 9 until 5 in the morning as construction crews alternately close the east and westbound lanes. Motorists can expect delays of up to ten minutes. The work will continue Monday through Thursday nights, July 19 through 22.
According to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), the closures are needed to allow crews to install new drainage pipes and place steel plates on the highway.
This work is separate from the State Route 76 Middle Project currently under construction just west of this location.
