Portion of Southbound Interstate 15 Closed Saturday Night
SAN DIEGO – Southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) will be closed from the I-15/State Route 163 (SR-163) split to State Route 52 (SR-52) on Saturday from 11 p.m. – 7 a.m., according to the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans).
This closure will allow construction crews to install large overhead signs without disrupting the weekday commute. Motorists traveling south on I-15 will be detoured to south on SR-163 to west on SR-52 to south on Convoy Street to east on SR-52 onto southbound I-15. Detour signs will be in place to direct motorists.
