District 10 Office of Small Business

Caltrans District 10 Office of Small Business provides assistance and support to perspective and currently certified Small, Disabled Veteran and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms seeking contracting and procurement opportunities within the District 10 counties: Amador, Alpine, Calaveras, Mariposa, Merced, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tuolumne.  Caltrans District 10 is committed to working with and encouraging the use of Certified Small Business (SB), Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE), and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) in Caltrans procurement and contracting needs. Did you know there are special program incentives and rights afforded to you as a certified SB, DVBE, and DBE firm when contracting with the State of California and other local municipalities? Caltrans strives to not only meet but exceed the annual 25% SB participation goal and  3% DVBE requirement mandated by the State of California. Caltrans also has a 12.5% DBE goal that this department is committed to achieving through Federal Highway contracting opportunities.

The DGS Procurement Division, Office of Small Business and DVBE Services (OSDS) is the State's certifying agency that administers the Small Business and DVBE Certification Programs. 

In addition, the Communications & Outreach Section assists Small and Disabled Veteran businesses by participating in outreach events, providing resource guidance and supporting the businesses through advocacy.
