Greater Eureka Area Study Group in Humboldt County. This group consists of representatives from, Caltrans, City of Eureka, County of Humboldt and Humboldt County Association of Governments. The focus of the group is to identify and plan for future transportation needs. In 2006 a travel demand forecasting model was produced, covering the entire county but with greater detail in the greater Eureka area. This model will be used to develop micro-simulation models of focus areas, in order to evaluate a range of proposed solutions.
