Thanks to those that attended the Visual/Aesthetics Meeting held June 15, 2010 at De Laveaga Elementary School. About 25 residents did attend the meeting held to provide input on elements of the visual quality, such as the appearance of the La Fonda Avenue bridge, appearance of retaining walls, concrete barriers; and the roadside landscaping scheme. The Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) has agreed to take on the role of construction manager, and implement the construction phase of this project with the assistance of a construction management firm.
