Shasta Lake Sidewalks Project

Project Summary

Shasta Lake

Caltrans and its contractor S.T. Rhoades Construction, Inc., are working on a project that will enhance and complete connectivity within the City of Shasta Lake, in compliance with the American with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The Shasta Lake ADA project will build sidewalks on State Route 151 (Shasta Dam Blvd.,) from Locust Avenue to the existing sidewalk at the Union Pacific Railroad’s Corum underpass. The Shasta Lake ADA project will build sidewalks on State Route 151 (Shasta Dam Blvd.,) from Locust Avenue to the existing sidewalk at the Union Pacific Railroad’s Corum underpass. Improvements included are ADA compliant curb ramps, east bound bicycle lane extension, asphalt pavement overlay with new striping, and drainage improvements. A follow-up street lighting project will be provided by the City of Shasta Lake.
