Jeffrey Park & Ride Construction Notice: Commuters should be aware of construction occurring inside the northern section of the Jeffrey Park & Ride lot. Parking stalls in the northern section of the lot will be closed and fenced off for approximately 13 months. Overnight parking will still be allowed for up to 72 hours. Lot Use

  • Park and Ride lots are for ride share (i.e., vanpool/carpool) commuter parking and are not intended for residential, commercial, or long-term parking. These uses are not permitted and violators may be towed. Parking is free of charge at all locations; permits are required only at the King of Glory Park and Ride and may be requested from the District Park and Ride Coordinator.
  • Users may park up to 72 consecutive hours -- for ride sharing purposes only -- at the locations specified as “Overnight: Yes” in the above Webmap. If locations are specified as “Overnight: No”, please refer to lot signage for specific hours of operations.
    • Note: Vehicles parked outside of designated spaces or left in excess of 72-hours, or the hours of operations specified in the above Webmap, may be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense (CVC 22651(k)).
  • No loitering, camping, vending, or parking of vehicles 30-feet or longer is permitted at any Park and Ride lot (CVC Section 22518). Commercial trucks and RVs are prohibited at Caltrans Park and Ride facilities.

Impounding

In any case involving vehicles stored/ impounded from Park and Ride lots, please call the relevant authorities mentioned below.

Security

  • While local police and CHP enforce guidelines at Park and Ride lots, there is no full-time security at these facilities. Park and Ride patrons park their vehicle at their own risk. Caltrans assumes no responsibility or liability due to fire, theft, vandalism, or damage of any kind to any vehicle or its contents parked in the Park and Ride facility. Patrons are strongly encouraged to lock their vehicles, remove all valuables from their vehicles, and report suspicious activity to the police.
