Lane Closures on State Routes 99, 132, 108, 120 & Interstate 5
Stanislaus County – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform lane closures on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 132 (SR-132), State Route 108 (SR-108), State Route 108 (SR-108) and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:
State Route 99
- Overnight, closure of the #1 (left) lane of northbound SR-99 between Hatch Road in Ceres and Sierra Drive in Modesto for guardrail repair beginning Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
- Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound SR-99 between Crows Landing Road and Tuolumne Boulevard in Modesto for construction work beginning Sunday, April 28, through Friday, May 3, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
- Closure of the #1 (left) lane of northbound SR-99 at Lander Avenue in Turlock for bridge work on Wednesday, April 1, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
State Route 132
- One-way traffic control on westbound and eastbound SR-132 at F Street/Hickman in Waterford for construction work beginning Thursday, May 2 through Friday, May 3, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Also, alternating lane closures between Reinway Avenue and F Street/Hickman beginning Monday, April 29, through Friday, May 3, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
- Note: Construction is expected to continue through Fall of 2024.
- Overnight, lane shift on westbound and eastbound SR-132 between I Street and Santa Fe Avenue in Empire for utility work beginning Sunday, April 28, through Friday, May 3, 2024, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
State Route 120
- One-way traffic control on SR-120 at the Stanislaus River in Oakdale for bridge work beginning Monday April 29, through Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
State Route 108
- Overnight, closure of the #2 (right) lane of eastbound SR-108 (northbound McHenry Avenue) between Roseburg Avenue and Orangeburg Avenue in Modesto for utility work beginning Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 3, 2024, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
Interstate 5
- Closure of the #2 (right) lane of northbound I-5 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for crack seal operations:
- Between Simon Newman overcrossing and Crows Creek on Monday, April 29, 2024.
- Between Davis Road to Fink Road on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
- Between Fink Road and Oak Flat Road on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
- Between Oak Flat Road and Niels Hansen undercrossing on Thursday, May 2, 2024.
- Between Niels Hansen undercrossing and Sperry Road on Friday, April 3, 2024.
Motorists should expect 5 to 10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to take place as listed, but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment, and/or materials and construction related issues.
